In February 2023, the City of Minnetonka purchased The Marsh, located at 15000 Minnetonka Blvd., from the YMCA of the North. The health and wellness facility sits on approximately seven acres, adjacent to the Minnetonka Civic Center and Jidana Park.

Oct 19, 2022 · An influential integrative wellness center in Minnetonka will close this year, nearly four decades since its founding by the late industry pioneer Ruth Stricker. Stricker's family gifted The Marsh to the YMCA of the North following Stricker's death in 2020.
Marsh memberships are available to residents and nonresidents. Membership options include Marsh-only memberships or a combination Williston/Marsh membership. The Marsh participates in SilverSneakers and Renew Active/One Pass. More information below under the Health Insurance Programs tab.
