The Other Ones Foundation transitions Austin’s homeless neighbors into an engaged community through shelter, opportunity, and support. TOOF programming is designed to meet this mission by offering extremely low-barrier work opportunities, case management, and humanitarian relief.
The Other Ones Foundation was born out of a desire to find new and innovative approaches to serving Austin’s homeless community. TOOF’s origins involve a deep dive of outreach and interviewing in encampments, asking unhoused people what THEY felt was missing from the homelessness response system.

Jun 25, 2021 · The Other Ones Foundation launched an effort to build 200 tiny homes last year. Now, it hopes to build on that effort with a renovated, community-focused space for Austinites experiencing homelessness.
