No. “Transgender” refers to people whose gender identity does not match their assigned sex at birth. If you are a transgender man, you identify as a man, and if you are a transgender woman, you identify as a woman. According to Vox, trans people “aren’t part of a third gender — they are, by all intents and purposes, men and women.”
Is non-binary a third gender?
Some non-binary people identify with the term “third gender” but not all do.
