Jul 5, 2020 · Tony Ruivivar, the visionary leader of the Society Seven show group, died peacefully in his sleep July 3 at his Las Vegas home. He was 79. The SOS, as the group was known, was a mainstay in the Waikiki nightlife scene, with a 40-year residency at the then-named Main Showroom of the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel.
