Mar 14, 2021 · The great feature to me is the downstairs "fun/play" area. It seemingly cuts down on the kids-running-in-the-halls-at-night issues significantly, by giving them a space. And when you travel with kids, you can send them downstairs to play pool/foosball while you sleep in.
After staying at the Tru in Pigeon Forge, we try to stay at Tru whenever we can, when we’re traveling. They are such a kid friendly hotel by having all the games in the lobby, pool, and great breakfast. The Tru in Pigeon Forge even had rooms with bunk beds!

Jul 27, 2023 · In my mind, the pricing should be equivalent to AmericInn. I've been in several good AmericInns, and the good ones are far better than Tru. But Tru has the Hilton name and consistency (theoretically), justifying paying the same for a room which is barebones comparatively.

Oct 20, 2018 · Tru is something of a limited service brand. You won’t find a full-service restaurant or room-service. But, you will find new hotels with most of the amenities you’re likely to need in a limited service property. When I walked in the front door I was greeted by an employee at the check-in desk.
