Contra is my favourite Vampire Weekend album. It's the first one I heard, has the most relatable lyrics, is incredibly fun (Holiday, Cousins), but also provides moments that cut through you like a knife (Taxi Cab, I Think Ur A Contra). But is it the best? I feel that has to go to MVOTC. The instrumentation is second to none.
