Formerly the Wayne County Road Commission, the Department of Public Services is the government agency in Wayne County responsible for building and maintaining the county's roads and highways. A number of the former agency's works are listed on the National Register of Historic Places .
County Road Commissioners may adopt its own rules necessary for the administration of the act after a public hearing; and WHEREAS, the County of Wayne has delegated the executive duties of the County Road Commission to the Wayne County Executive and the legislative duties to the Wayne County Commission; and
