Wright Thornburgh King (January 11, 1923 – November 25, 2018) was an American stage, film and television actor whose career lasted for over forty years. He is best known for playing Jason Nichols in the television series Wanted Dead or Alive (1958–1961).
Birth name. Thomas Wright Thornburg King. Height. 5′ 11″ (1.80 m) Mini Bio. Prolific supporting actor, arguably best known for his two guest appearances on Rod Serling 's The Twilight Zone (1959). In one of his later roles he played the chimpanzee veterinarian Dr. Galen in Planet of the Apes (1968) which was also co-scripted by Serling.

Thomas Wright Thornburg King (January 11, 1923 – November 25, 2018), better known as Wright King, was an American actor. He was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. His career lasted from 1949 until his retirement in 1987. He was known for his roles in A Streetcar Named Desire, Stagecoach to Fury and in Planet of the Apes.

Family spokesman Jared Stine told The Hollywood Reporter that King died on Sunday, Nov. 25 in the Woodland Hills area.
