The Mighty McGurk plot. Roy "Stroke" McGurk is a former heavyweight boxing champion who works as a bouncer at Mike Glenson's saloon in New York's gritty Bowery district. Mike asks Slag to go to Ellis Island to pick up his daughter Caroline, who is returning from Europe.
