Born Jeffrey Michael Jacquet, on October 15, 1966, in Bay City, Texas, he embarked on a career as a child actor after a move to Los Angeles.
After stepping back from the entertainment industry to concentrate on his education, Jeffrey was Admitted to the State Bar of California 10/28/1993 . Working as a successful lawyer in Los Angeles, CA since then.
Jeffrey started his career in 1978 in the films Return from Witch Mountain and Bloodbrothers. Later that year, he was cast as Eugene in the first season of Mork & Mindy. Eugene was a 12-year-old kid who was a friend of Mork’s, and took violin lessons from Cora, Mindy’s grandmother.
Jacquet was let go after the first season, when the Network pressured the producers to take the show in another direction, giving Mork more friends of his 'own age', something the cast and crew felt was a mistake.
When he left the show, he went on to appear in other projects including Sanford & Son,The Jeffersons,and Our House. He also appeared in the film Wholly Moses! before he took on the role of Jeremy Saldino in both Simon & Simon and as a lead cast member in
More recently however he has returned to the entertainment field, working as 2nd Assistant Director on the movies, Invincible (2020) and Intercept (pre-production), as well as co-producing the movie Shark Huntress (2021).
