Thin Lizzy are an Irish hard rock band formed in Dublin in 1969, led by bass guitarist, lead vocalist and principal songwriter Phil Lynott. The band had several line-up changes, international hits and influences from blues, folk and metal, and were the first Black Irishmen to achieve commercial success in rock music.
