  1. Apr 25, 2024 · During umpteen visits, we've discovered so many amazing things to do in Cabo San Lucas! Whale watching. Hiking up the Pedregal. Romantic sunset cruises. And much more... Check out what to do in Los Cabos here!

    • Take a Whale Watching Cruise (one of the most exciting things to do in Cabo San Lucas!) The Sea of Cortez is one of the best places in this part of the world to get up close and personal with a mighty humpback whale, and you can jump on a whale-watching tour straight out of Cabo San Lucas.
    • Take a Swim On Lover’s Beach (Playa del Amor) Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach are connected on their own little island along Land’s End. Lover’s Beach looks into the bay and is a beautifully calm piece of water — perfect for swimming and trying out water sports.
    • Grab a Cocktail & Watch The Sunset. There’s nothing better than enjoying a sunset with a cocktail in hand and your bare feet in the sand. I especially love beachfront bars, where the floor is made of sand and there’s no dress code.
    • Jet Skiing, Parasailing and kayaking at Medano Beach. Medano Beach is the main beach in Cabo San Lucas. It’s within easy walking distance of the centre of town or the marina, and it also offers just about every water sport you could imagine.
    • See the famous Cabo San Lucas Arch. One of Cabo’s favorite boat trip destinations, the rocky Cabo San Lucas arch (also known as El Arco) is a famous landmark that’s very easy to get to from the tender pier.
    • Walk around the Cabo San Lucas Marina. Wondering what to do in Cabo San Lucas port that’s free? This one’s easy. Just stroll around the marina, lined with lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
    • Chill on Medano Beach. Another one of the best free things to do in Cabo, Mexico, on a cruise? Soak up the sun and go for a swim at Medano Beach. While Los Cabos is known for its golden beaches and bright blue waters, it’s important to know that not all beaches in Cabo are swimmable.
    • Go taco or tequila tasting (or both!) Tacos and tequila – could there be a better combo? Taco tasting. There’s an abundance of tasty taquerias in Cabo, but our favorite for Baja-style shrimp tacos (and mean margaritas!)
  2. 25 Things to Do in Cabo San Lucas & San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. Megan Bryant. May.3.2024. Destinations. Los Cabos, the sun-drenched southern region on Mexicos Baja California peninsula, is the perfect year-round vacation destination for those in search of alluring beaches, mouth-watering cuisine, and ultimate relaxation.

    • Visit El Arco. El Arco, or “the Arch”, is one of our favorite places to visit near Cabo San Lucas. The iconic landmark is a giant rock formation in the sea near the very tip of the Baja Peninsula, right where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez.
    • Swim with whale sharks. Feeling brave? If you’ve ever fancied yourself a marine explorer, then we’ve got the experience for you! This all-day tour takes you deep into the Sea of Cortez for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to swim with the world’s largest fish – whale sharks!
    • Go on a sunset cruise. The sunsets in Cabo San Lucas are absolutely stunning with vibrant bursts of oranges and purples that take your breath away. It’s one of my favorite parts of the day.
    • Scuba dive. Anywhere there’s an ocean where we travel, you’ll probably find us scuba diving! It’s something I absolutely love to do wherever we go. It’s just so peaceful under the water and you can get really close to all the amazing creatures underwater.
