A multi-award winning actress who studied her craft in Maidenhead. Born in Reading, Kate studied drama at the Redroofs Theatre School in Maidenhead in the 1980s. The school moved to Maidenhead in 1964, into a house once owned by Ivor Novello. Other noted graduates of the school include Joanne Froggatt and Kris Marshall.
