Oct 19, 2009 · The V8 Monza motor mounts and such will work I believe, but hands down the best stuff I worked with was the Hooker kit, easy to install and clean. The headers are a joke though, the toughest part of the kit was the headers, they are 3-4 pieces per side, and the tubes go every which way and leak like a mother. I bet someone makes a better header ...

All of these kits used a front engine mount arrangement, not sure why, but that's how they all mounted a smallblock into a Vega. Remember, at this time there were no V8 Monza's to use parts off of. When the factory came out with the V8 Monza in 1975 it opened up a whole bunch of V8 parts that would now work on the earlier Vega's.
