In her new novel, the author takes us back to Isle of Palms and the Rutledge family. I've read every book in this series and felt like I was visiting old friends.

  7. Jun 25, 2013 · This is the second book I've read by Mary Alice Monroe and I must say that her stories tend to make me feel at home, warm, and comfortable. I LOVE South Carolina, especially the lowcountry and it's beautiful beaches.
