Oct 14, 2023 · Interesting up date, but Man in Seat 61 makes the same mistake that I made in stating that tickets, not the reservation fee, can only be purchased 60 days out. Hambagahle advised me in a previous forum post that you can buy your tickets 6 months in advance, including the saver day pass.
Here’s how it works: Go to SBB.ch. Select your desired route, time and travel date in the timetable. Click on ‘Tickets from CHF xx.xx’. If you would like to make a reservation for more than one person, click on the pencil symbol and enter/select the additional passengers. Scroll down and select ‘Seat reservation only’.
