To get to NCI Shady Grove, take the Washington, DC Metro Red line to the Shady Grove stop (terminal station). Shuttle buses depart from the Shady Grove Metro station beginning at 6:00 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. respectively. Safra Family Lodge at NIH offers a home-like place of respite for families and loved ones of adult patients who are receiving care at the NIH Clinical Center, the nation's premier clinical research hospital. Patients from across the nation and throughout the world visit NIH to participate as partners in medical discovery.
Self-guided-tour or request a brief overview of the science and their personal stories behind these awards. Number attending. Group tours may not exceed 15 people.
