  4. Casa de la Panadería. The present building of the Casa de la Panadería stands at number 27 on the north side of Madrid's Plaza Mayor, just behind the central statue of Felipe III. The original building was a wooden construction designed by Juan Gomez de Mora and completed in 1619. It was destroyed by fire in 1670 and was rebuilt by Thomas Roman.
