Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. This romantic comedy is based on the popular YA (young adult) novel, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, by Dylan Sheldon. Lola (Lindsay Lohan) is a teenager living in New York City who aspires to become an actress.
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen would seem more at home on the Disney channel than on the big screen—it’s strictly after-school special material. Although I found it hard to root for Lola due to her unruliness, she does learn a lot of lessons along the way.
