   This very large park looms over the port and harbor and contains several world class museums. Also one comes here for spectacular views of the sea and the city below. There are a couple of Metro stations nearby, but the hill is steep and you may need a bus or cab ride to get to the upper reaches.

   • Montjuic Maravillaso! This hill can be visited by metro or bus. But if you take the the metro, you have to again take a cable car or a bus from there to reach the castle. View of the Mediterranean sea & the city of Barcelona from the castle is eye catching! Especially the walk round the castle was great.

   • Traipsing around Montjuic on foot is hard work, while seeing if from the top of a bus is nice (and you can stop off of course), but a really good happy medium is by electric bike.

   How do I get to Mountjuic Castle?

   • Turn right at the museum, left at the carpark and up the path, this will take you all the way through to the main road where the Olympic stadium is on the left. Go past the Olympic stadium down the main road and it takes you to the cable cars which go up to mountjuic Castle. Now that is a view! Wowser! Only complaint.
