- Available now on Netflix, Jackass 4.5 is a B-side movie and a majority of the footage used does not reach the same quality as the stunts in Jackass Forever. But while Jackass 4.5 doesn't have quite the same production value as Jackass Forever, it still has a number of worthy entries to the franchise.

By his own admission, Steve-O's condom drop stunt in Jackass 4.5 didn't turn out as planned. After 15 attempts trying to get a condom full of his own waste to cover his head without bursting, the crew gave up. Had it worked then the clip may have found its way into Jackass Forever, but given its failure, it was relegated to a Jackass 4.5.
Jackass newcomer Zach Holmes and veteran Preston Lacy square off in a long-jump contest. However, rather than landing in a sandpit they body dive onto the prone bodies of the rest of the crew. Chris Pontius and new star Rachel Wolfsonofficiate the event, which sees Wee-Man get hit the worst when Preston's knee is driven straight into him.
As part of the Jackass Forever test shoot, the group replicated a stunt that Steve-O had previously done. Doubling up as Poopies' initiation, he is joined by Dave England and Preston Lacy as they have hot sauce filtered into their butts. Not one for the squeamish, Jackass 4.5's Friendly Game Of Chance sees Dave England, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, and Poopies line up on a platform, each with a brick tied to their penis. A short clip from Jackass 4.5sees Dave England get whipped by a horse rider who jumps over Steve-O. It is arguably the most spiteful stunt in the movie because there's nothing that England can do to get away or brace himself from the hit.
The Electric Eel saw Wee-Man attempt to pass electricity from an electric eel through his body and onto Danger Ehren. Although the stunt worked, the visual was not Jackass 4.5's best despite the costumes worn by those involved. The highlight of the segment was Wee-Man, dressed as Benjamin Franklin, trying to get his intro lines right.

One of Jackass 4.5's quickest stunts featured Johnny Knoxville firing a boxing glove-tipped arrow at newcomer Jasper Dolphin. The slow-motion shot was a classic, short Jackassclip that undoubtedly was as painful as it looked. However, it lacked the intricacy of some of the movie's more complex stunts.
Hot S**t Water Skiing was a stunt that probably looked better on paper than it did in execution. Steve-O is known for taking on the gnarlier Jackass stunts and it was no different in Jackass 4.5. In Dine And Dash, he had fish placed in and around his naked body, then waited for an eagle to swoop down to take the bait. The anticipation of the stunt is better than the final execution, although the bird does eventually claw and peck at Steve-O.
Just like Jackass Forever was the best Jackass film, it's only fitting that Jackass 4.5 is the best .5, with the best stunts and a stronger focus overall whilst still retaining the insightful and heartfelt behind the scenes. A fitting epilogue to an already strong swan song.

Aug 1, 2022 · Jackass 4.5 finds the gang revisiting some older stunts as well as crafting a few new ones. The usual rules apply: damage to the genitals, showing someone vomiting (often members of the crew) and fart jokes seemingly never get old with this bunch.
