  2. I think Mean Streets is straight up one of the best movies ever made, it practically invented a whole new style of American cinema, and might be my favorite Scorsese overall. It's obviously not as polished as some of his later masterpieces like Raging Bull or Goodfellas but the roughness suits it anyway.
