Wasn't a bad movie, but like so many Hallmark Christmas movies of the last few years, this really wasn't a Christmas movie. It was a Hallmark movie that just happened to take place at Christmas time. The same story could have been told at any time of the year.
Bad things: As said, 'Noel Next Door' didn't start off too good at all. The dialogue is excessively cheesy and the story didn't really get much momentum for a while. But it was the emphasis on the supporting characters that hurt it most, and these characters are annoying and over-played.
A single mother gets into a war of words with an irritable neighbor who is ruining Christmas, only to find that this misunderstood Grinch is the man who has stolen her heart.

The annoying kid who could have kicked the soccer ball into the window, taunting the neighbour, coming over to threaten him over his lost bunny, and the mom was on her son's lying side. I would send him back to his dad and mistress.
