So asks the tagline on the poster for No Way Out, an exciting noir-thriller from 1987 that may not be so relevant today, but is nonetheless a very good time at the movies.
Savina Petkova. TLDR. In a noir, never trust a beautiful woman, a power-hungry politician, or a virtuous marine. What it's about. The take. The film that catapulted Kevin Costner to fame, No Way Out, is based on a novel by Kenneth Fearing, "The Big Clock", and is also preceded by a film adaptation of it, around 40 years prior.
Yeah, this stuck in my mind as a good movie. You think the intrigue is all about one thing and then there’s the twist which makes it all mean something completely different. This is relatively early on in Kevin Costner’s career and he was still good. Worth a watch I’d say.
