Jul 6, 2023 · Located in Polk County, Florida, Lakeland sits between Tampa and Orlando. Throughout history, it had been known as the home of a number of Native American tribes. During my visit, I had the opportunity to explore the Circle B Bar Reserve, an area of protected land nestled within Lakeland.
Destinations. Florida. United States. Lakeland is literally in the middle of Central Florida. If you’ve never experienced the notable towns in Central Florida, you are in for a real treat. While the crowds are more scarce than the coastal cities, the scenery, service, and offerings are equally good, minus beaches.
