The Berlin Zoo may be more famous, but it the Hannover Zoo is far superior. (Berlin Zoo looks like it hasn't changed in 60 years, with the traditional feeling of animals being imprisoned.) What we love about this zoo is the themed areas -- like Yukon Bay, which is brilliant. Take a boat ride around part of the zoo.

Loved this zoo, favourite animals, penguins, elephants and gorillas . Good setting & clean. Plenty of places to eat & drink. Downside was with the wasps, they were everywhere, even inside of the restaurants.
