Everyday Scenery (いつもの風 (ふう) 景 (けい) , Itsumo no Fūkei?) is the 165th Chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga.
As the group walks to a train, Denji spots a Pseudo-Chainsaw Man corpse. Haruka explains a train station attendant will clean it up, but Denji insists that this isn't normal. Asa tells him that these corpses appearing is just expected at this point. On the train, Fami lists off sushi restaurants they could go to, but because the best places are either burned to the ground or have a dead chef, the group will have to settle with a budget restaurant, Sushishi. Nobana remarks he enjoys the tea there. Seeing a mother with an injured eye and her son on the train, Denji asks Asa to remind him why she's out to fight him now. She answers that if she can fight him and win, he'll be saved, but Denji asks if she’s still brainwashed by the Church. She denies it and then tells Fami to explain for him, Fami explains that if they break his contract with Pochita, they can beat the devil and give him a new heart so he can live on as a human with a normal life. Denji asks Fami how does she knows all about that, before asking Asa if she truly believes her. Asa sticks up for Fami; she answers that why she believes Fami is because Fami helped her rescue him, and despite her past bad acts, Fami is trying to do the right thing. She tries to get Fami to agree with her, but Fami stomach grumbles, with the others just silently staring at her and waiting for her response.
Denji asks Asa what she means by a "normal life." Asa explains that what she means by a “normal life” is that he can go back to school, have a home, and hopefully Nayuta would be able to come home too. She says everything will go back to normal, but this unsettles him. He asks her if she's ever eaten toilet paper before, before explaining how he had to eat it when he was very little, but now that he's well-fed he can't go back. He asks Asa if she understands, but she mistakes his story for metaphor and she asks him to tell it to her straight. Denji tells her that he can't go back to his normal life, but Asa vows to return his life back to normal.
