Behind the High Wall seems to be regarded in most quarters as the best of them and I certainly enjoyed it. It gets off to an action-packed and exciting start with a prison break that sees warden Tom Tully taken hostage, before the story becomes more of a traditional noir as Tully hoardes away the loot that the escapees also had.
