Just about 45 minutes west of Columbus, Yellow Springs is the perfect location for a day trip, though you could likely fill more than a day with all the activities available in the area.

Jan 12, 2023 · The Inman Trail at Glen Helen is one of the best hiking trails in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The 1.2-mile loop is an easy to moderate hike that features The Cascades waterfall and the famous namesake Yellow Spring. Glen Helen is a private, non-profit park. There is a $5 fee for parking, which helps support the park.
Rock climbing and hiking is available at John Bryan State Park just east of town and Yellow Springs is located on part of a 72-mile bike trail so options for recreation are always plentiful. Yellow Springs is only miles 10 miles from Springfield, Ohio and 20 miles west of Dayton and is accessible on Rte. 343 ‹ ›
