    Christmas Day in Barcelona is usually celebrated with a big lunch at home with family. Many attractions are closed, as are most restaurants, cafes and bars.

    In Barcelona, the holiday celebrations don’t end on December 25, but continue until January 6. We left Barcelona the day after Christmas to continue our Spain Trip to Seville and Madrid, so we missed out on these events. Those staying through the first week of January should mark their calendars for these celebrations.
