Report ». The Warren County Prosecutor holds a public office created by the New Jersey Constitution and is appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate for a five year term. Working under the authority of the Attorney General, the Prosecutor is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the County.
Each attorney is responsible for handling all aspects of felony prosecutions - from arraignment to trial and sentencing. In addition to prosecuting felonies in the Court of Common Pleas, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office defends convictions that have been appealed to the Twelfth District Court of Appeals and to the Ohio Supreme Court.
