On March 22, 2016 Donnie Reyes joined the original lineup in Houston, TX for a performance at the Continental Club. On April 4, 2016, it was confirmed that Fenix TX had signed to Cyber Tracks, the L.A based record label owned by NOFX guitarist El Hefe and his wife Jen Abeyta.

Back in 2012, I ended up taking an audio engineering class with Donnie Reyes, their original drummer. I talked to him a while and even went to his house one time and “jammed” a little (I play bass). He talked about going on tour with blink in the late 90s (the tour they used for the Mark Tom and Travis show).

Aug 24, 2009 · Long dormant San Diego pop punk band Fenix TX is set to hit the studio soon. In an announcement posted online earlier this month, the band revealed that their original line up of Donnie Reyes, Adam Lewis, Will Salazar and Damon DeLaPaz would hit the studio this September.
