Lucio Fulci seems to be the prefered champion of 'cult film' fans and 'gore hounds'. I prefer more Argento films over Fulci films (Argentos filmography has a larger selection of good films in my opinion, I think John Carpenter is the only director who can rival Argento in the sheer number of 'good' horror films they directed).
