Nov 10, 2020 · 1. The Raft. For anyone familiar with Creepshow 2, there was probably little suspense as to which story would take this top spot. Based on a Stephen King short that's also very good, "The Raft" is the main reason Creepshow 2 's reputation has improved, and is clearly the standout.
Unlike the first film, Creepshow 2 only contains three stories instead of five. Originally, two additional stories, Pinfall and Cat from Hell were set to appear in the film, but were scrapped due to budgetary reasons; [3] however, the latter has been filmed for Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Oct 1, 2020 · The second missing story, "Cat from Hell," based on a Stephen King short first published in 1977, concerns a hitman hired by a wealthy pharmaceutical magnate to murder an unusual target: a cat. The hitman scoffs at first, but it turns out the cat is indeed a worthy foe, and that he may well be outmatched.

Oct 18, 2015 · The second part of the anthology “The Raft” is based on a story of King’s that appeared in the collection Skeleton Crew, while the third—“The Hitchhiker”—was actually written by King to appear as the final story in the original Creepshow before it was cut and replaced with “They’re Creeping Up on You.” The story works much better here.
