‘Death Valley Days’ wasn’t a truly original production. Like other shows we’ve talked about, it began as a radio series. The radio version ran from 1930 to 1944 as ‘Death Valley Days’, and then it transitioned to being known as ‘Death Valley Sheriff’ and finally in 1945 just ‘The Sheriff’, finishing its radio run in 1951.
