Leonard is an anthropomorphic chubby pig with green skin. His head is directly connected to his oval torso without a neck, though he has a green beard separating both parts of his body. He has thick green eyebrows, his eyes have black pupils, his ears are aligned to one side of his head, and he has a small snout with two nostrils. Also, his limbs end with cloven hooves. For attire, he sometimes wears a tall golden crown.
In the original Angry Birds, Leonard was modified to look like a round pig, just like the other characters. He was a re-skin of King Pig, though with a green beard and thick green eyebrows on his face.
In Angry Birds 2, his skin, beard and eyebrows were changed to look darker. He is a square-shaped pig with a small visible tail.
In Angry Birds Reloaded, his skin and terminal hair were changed back to look more like his appearance in the movie. He is a round pig. The enemy version of Leonard has for attire a tall golden crown like his crown from the movies.
Leonard is a charming and charismatic person. When he first met the birds, he acted polite and solidary towards them, confident that he was going to gain their trust. However, he was also easily frustrated by Red's complaints, whispering to himself that the bird was a useless jerk. It is shown that he always does everything without doubting or fearing the consequences.
Behind this enthusiastic persona, Leonard is a bossy, power-hungry monarch, who has no respect or empathy towards his allies; according to Pork Ogh, he spends all day giving his minions orders, and yelling at them when they fail. He is also very punctual, having punished a group of pigs for having given him a Porkini Mushroom one minute after he expected to have it. However, he still keeps his cool persona in public.
Leonard has a great durability and resistance. In The Angry Birds Movie, he was able to survive the massive explosion that occurred in the destruction of Piggy Island and only get a bruise from it. It's possible this is due to his species as a pig, as the worst injury any pig received from the explosion was a cast and mild burn marks.
In Angry Birds Reloaded, Leonard is able to break through most Blocks quite easily. His strength is the same as Terence's.
Red
Red has often been arch rivals with Leonard. They first met when he and his minions went to Bird Island. Ever since their first encounter, they have had a rather tense relationship, with Red being skeptical about Leonard, and Leonard being annoyed by Red's attitude towards him, sometimes cursing him in secret. Eventually, it turned out that Red was right about the pigs when they stole the eggs from Bird Island and bombed Bird Village. When Red and his friends attacked Pig City and rescued the eggs, Leonard's rivalry with Red was further aggravated. However, the pig once took a selfie cosplaying Red despite their arch-rivalry. Realizing that Zeta, a bird from Eagle Island was releasing ice balls onto both Piggy Island and Bird Island, he and Red agreed to team up to stop Zeta from taking over the earth.

•One of King Pig' facts in the official guide states that Leonard is his father. This is the oldest known source to mention him, predating The Angry Birds Movie.

Leonard appears in this game as a boss in the final 8 levels in the Pigs In A Banquet episode, replacing King Pig. He also appears as a playable character on numerous levels in all 3 Eagle Island episodes. His power is the same as it is in Angry Birds 2 but he doesn't explode into snot when he hits a structure.
