Martin Freeman takes on the role of Detective Superintendent Steve Fulcher. His tactics of gaining a confession from Chris Halliwell may upend his career and the state's case against Halliwell. You may recognize Freeman from his stint as Watson to Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock in the BBC series, Sherlock. He also had major roles in films Love Actually and The Hobbit, as well as television series including the original U.K. version of The Office and Fargo.
Siobhan Finneran/Elaine Pickford
Siobhan Finneran plays Sian's mother. At first, she's convinced her daughter is at a friend's house and has forgotten to check in with everybody, but as time passes she begins to fear the worst. You'll likely likely recognize Finneran from Downton Abbey or Happy Valley.
