This is a very good movie and a realistic view of south central at the time. I lived there and this is one of the few movies that showed a realistic view of life. Glenn Plummer should get more props for his acting.

I prefer this over 90% of the hood movies. I really enjoyed Glenn Plummer’s performance. This movie is in my Mount Rushmore of hood films along with Boyz, and Menace. I still refer to a carton of smokes as “one box cigarette”.
