Discussion. Criminally underrated flick. Yes, the production value is on the low side for a Hollywood feature, but the plot and acting more than make up for it. There were no gimmicks, no cringe moments just PURE acting, psychological horror & voodoo. Definitely one of my favorite movies.

The Skeleton Key is a scary Kate Hudson movie that will satisfy if you like films of this sort. It has good writing, very realistic acting, and a scary thrilling plot with just enough twists and turns. This film will keep you guessing and wondering ritht up until the big finale.

The movie The Skeleton Key, 2004 uses hudu, a lesser-known belief, to tell a good story of mystery, superstition and fear. Despite having some flaws, The Skeleton Key deserves to be watched for having a well-kept production, competent cast and a daring ending.
