The Wind in the Willows first movie is a great start to the Cosgrove Hall adaptation of the book of the same name. The story of The Wind in the Willows is that one spring Mole decides that he can ignore spring cleaning for a little longer, and begins a series of adventures with his new friend Rat.
The Wind in the Willows is a classic children's novel by the British novelist Kenneth Grahame, first published in 1908. It details the story of Mole, Ratty, and Badger as they try to help Mr. Toad , after he becomes obsessed with motorcars and gets into trouble.
It's a wonderful adaptation of Wind in the Willows (interspersed with a little from Willows in the Winter). The graceful beauty of the river and its surroundings is captured marvellously in aquarelle-like animation.
