This is the site of the first McDonald’s that was open in 1940, but the property has since been purchased by the owner of local chicken restaurant Juan Pollo and converted into a museum.

  6. The only original item here is the first Golden Arches from the store, displayed outside the building now on the site. The free museum on the building is owned by a chicken restaurant and honors that history, and doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is.
