   • The lighting is dark as it is cause they are out on the sea floor. It is a lot of fast editing cuts and shaky camera movements which can make it a little confusing. Sure, it was probably done to create the intensity direction on what is going on. Overall, Underwater is a pretty fair film. It could be a lot worse.

   • Sort of think "Alien" meets "The Abyss" and then you essentially have the hybrid that is "Underwater". But it gets better, because the end quarter of the movie was pure gold for a Lovecraft fan such as myself. By Dagon, the last quarter of the movie made it so worth watching.
