- Mushihimesama. Platforms: Windows, iOS. To get us started, we’re recommending Cave’s insect-themed fantasy shooter Mushihimesama, which received a mobile port in 2011 and a PC version in 2015.
- Ikaruga. Platforms: Windows, PS4, Nintendo Switch. Ikaruga is one of the most popular titles in the shmup genre and was developed and published for arcades by Treasure in 2001.
