Seals and Crofts were an American soft rock duo made up of James Eugene Seals (October 17, 1942 – June 6, 2022) and Darrell George "Dash" Crofts (born August 14, 1938) They are best known for their hits "Summer Breeze" (1972), "Diamond Girl" (1973), and "Get Closer" (1976), each of which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Seals & Crofts I & II is a double album re-issue of their albums, Seals & Crofts and Down Home. In early 1974, while the duo were at the peak of their popularity, Warner Bros. Records decided it would be a good investment to purchase the rights to their first two LPs on the TA label, which by that time, were out of print.
- 'Summer Breeze' From: 'Summer Breeze' (1972) After struggling for several years, Seals and Crofts were prepared for superstardom when their 1972 album Summer Breeze and its title track took them to the next level.
- 'We May Never Pass This Way (Again)' From: 'Diamond Girl' (1973) They followed up "Diamond Girl" (see No. 4 on our list of the Top 10 Seals and Crofts Songs), with a single that traced a similar lyrical thread to the title track of their 1971 LP Year of Sunday.
