The Vimoutiers Tiger tank is a World War II German Tiger I tank on outdoor display at Vimoutiers in the Orne Department, Normandy, France. The tank was abandoned by its crew in August 1944 during the latter stages of the Battle of Normandy.

But the Vimoutiers Tiger stands out even among those, as it is one of only two Tigers that can be seen in the wild anywhere on the planet.

Vimoutiers Tiger Tank is a Second World War Tiger Tank on the outskirts of Vimoutiers in Normandy. The tank is located outside by the side of the road heading from Vimoutiers to Gacé on D979.
Tiger I Tank Vimoutiers. This is the last Tiger tank to be found in Normandy. Left behind by the retreating German Army this Panzer was found in Vimoutiers. It probably ran out of petrol so the crew was forced to leave it behind after an attempt to put it out of action.
One of them, a type E Tiger, comes to a full stop on the way out of Vimoutiers, having run out of fuel. Its crew sabotage it with two explosive charges. Classed as an Historic Monument in 1975. One of only six such tanks.
