Opened in 2011, the Jean Cocteau Museum, Séverin Wunderman Collection, offers on 2,700 m² of exhibition space all the diversity of the artist’s work, from the 1910’s to the 1950’s.
And what a museum Menton built: this futuristic, low-rise building is a wonderful space to make sense of Cocteau’s eclectic work. Its collection includes drawings, ceramics, paintings and cinematographic work, with exhibits rotating annually. Admission includes the Cocteau-designed Musée du Bastion.
