The Santa Clause 2 is a 2002 film and the sequel to the 1994 film The Santa Clause. All the principal actors from the first film reprise their roles. According to Box Office Mojo, it cost around $65 million to make and had domestic (U.S.) box office receipts of $139,236,327.
The Santa Clause 2 on its opening weekend grossed $10 million more than its predecessor. The opening weekend was a personal best to date for Tim Allen. The Hollywood Reporter said its performance "exceeded expectations".
