Salvatorian College was founded in 1926 by the Salvatorian Brothers. They had come to Harrow in 1901 and established a small parish dedicated to Saint Joseph. It was not until 1926 that the community was big enough to warrant the opening a school.
At Salvatorian, our History curriculum is crafted to ignite a profound curiosity for the past while ensuring students develop a robust understanding of historical content and second-order concepts.
In September 1893, a college was established at Lochau, Austria; in the same year a station was founded at Corvallis, Oregon, United States. In 1896 several members began work in Brazil. [citation needed] The first papal approbation was granted in the Decretum laudis of 27 May 1905. [8]
In 1926 a small school was founded at Wealdstone and the first Headmaster was Fr. Cuthbert Smith. When the school was opened there were only 14 boys and 3 masters. But by Easter of 1926 there were fifty boys and the staff was increased by 7 masters.
