    Ys (イース, Īsu, IPA: [iːsɯ]) ( / ˈiːs /) is a series of action role-playing games developed by Nihon Falcom. [1] The series chronicles the life of the adventurer, Adol Christin. The first game in the series, Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished, was released on the NEC PC-8801 in 1987. [2]
