Foshan is the third-largest City in Guangdong Province of Southern China. It is about 20 kilometers (12 miles) southwest of Guangzhou City, the capital of Guangdong.
Situated in the southwest of the Nanhai District, it is an extinct volcano that has slept for thousands of years. Comprising seventy-two peaks, thirty-six caves, two hundred springs twenty-eight waterfalls, two lakes and nine scenic areas, it is not only a national level tourist destination but also a national forest park.
